1984 – Dutch Simple Minds Tribute

1984 (pronounced in English) is a Dutch Simple Minds Tribute band. Named after the release year of „Sparkle in the Rain“, one of their best albums, the goal of 1984 is to bring the best of Simple Minds to the stage, duplicating the sound and on stage energy of the band in the eighties.

1984 is able to give a full 2,5 hour concert including the biggest Simple Minds hits (such as Don’t You Forget About Me, Alive & Kicking, Promised You A Miracle and Belfast Child), as well as several gems from their new wave period.
